Earth Eidolon

Inspired by the shared experiences of life, Earth Eidolon emulates aspects of joy, suffering, love, loneliness, belonging and death through narratives driven by the natural world. The pictorial landscapes are symbolic of the artists emotional landscapes, and serve to represent a peace and angst common to all living things. There is a melancholic beauty that haunts this earth, an eidolon among us, a spirit that gently persists like a warm soft breeze across the horizon of time.

Ana Cristina is a self-taught painter based in New York City. Her work is driven by emotion, intuition, and the desire to translate the human condition into visual form. Working primarily in oil, she seeks to evoke deep sentiment from the viewer through symbolism and personal memory. She has exhibited at Palo Gallery, Psychic Readings, and Rusha & Co.
